A Letter from Neil
I believe that the practice of law is more than a profession. It’s a calling. It requires not simply knowledge of the law and specialized skills. It involves passion: passion for the law, passion for justice, and passion for clients and their causes. It involves adherence to the highest ethical standards. And it requires pride, dedication, and the very best efforts of the practitioner. Above all, it requires the willingness to provide exemplary service to clients no matter the scope of the challenge or the personal burden imposed upon the lawyer.
If you choose us for any of your legal needs, I trust you will see our commitment to these principles reflected in every aspect of my practice – from start to finish. We view the practice of law differently, and we practice law differently. And you’ll see it in everything we do.
I also trust that you will like the way we do business. My practice consists of one attorney and one highly-experienced paralegal. This enables us to devote specialized attention to each client and to eliminate the inefficiencies and higher costs that result when files change hands between multiple attorneys or staff. This, in turn, means added value for the client. It means we can provide services faster, with fewer delays, and for less money.
In addition to our commitment to quality, service and one-on-one attention, we’re also committed to achieving results. I’m an Outer Banks native with deeply-rooted ties to the area. We have close working relationships with law enforcement officers and court personnel, and we have earned the trust and respect of the legal community and the community at large. These can prove to be invaluable assets to our clients.
Whether you need an attorney to review or draft a contract, handle a minor criminal matter, or you need representation in complex litigation, I hope you will consider us for your needs. I trust that you will be more than satisfied with the service we provide.
Very truly,
Neil W. Scarborough
